This site is a tribute to Napier Smith, who passed away after a short illness on the 5th of July at Warrington Hospital in the presence of his family. He is much loved and will always be remembered. He was father to 5 children and had 9 grandchildren plus a further 4 great grandchildren. During his life he undertook Royal Air Force service in many locations around the world, retiring after 25 years to the North West of England. Further work with Bass Charrington followed until he was made redundant. His wife Pauline sadly passed away in 2004 after a long illness and now alone, he remained stoically independant to the end, although supported greatly by his youngest son Shaun
